Diversity in Tech
The Diversity in Tech Symposium, formerly the Women in Tech Symposium, is an annual event presenting the experiences of women, BIPOC, and non-binary and other under-included people in tech. Each symposium focuses on a particular tech-related topic where job growth is extraordinary and the talent pipeline is lacking. In addition to the panels and discussion, the event also recognizes those who embody, encourage, and promote the inclusion of women and Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) in technology through the EDGE in Tech Athena Awards.

The first CITRIS Athena Awards were also presented to honor inspiring women and organizations making outstanding technical contributions and supporting the next generation.
